Dear Connoisseurs, in the case of plastic soldiers it happens that the barrels of the guns break off due to age. (a good example is Airfix's Brengunner vd Australian infantry). Is it possible to make an alternative loop end with, for example, a thin iron wire?

Thanks in advance for the comment (s)

Ok, a personal opinion: are you doing it for yourself ... then who are you paying attention to? (although metal / plastic = mostly heat ... (oops).

It does not increment a value, since as mentioned this is common ...
it is what it is .. (you might be able to decrease a value yourself because of that) ..

Thank you for your comment @ Leike-w

It's more of a hobby question. I understand that it does not boost the value.

Now I was not immediately thinking about soldering;) more about gluing or something.

I often do this with both metal and plastic figures, I have good results with E6000 glue, it is the result that counts, sometimes a good modification is an improvement of the original model, where I completely disregard the value , it remains personal indeed. Actually it corresponds somewhere with your own paintings that are not original but can yield a better, more beautiful result,

just my five cents,
Tim
