Good evening,

Today I helped my parents-in-law move things to the storage because of an upcoming move.

In the cellar I found a 5 liter bottle of Château du Bousquet from 1981 under the dust and cobwebs.

My mother-in-law said that her father received it as a business gift in 1984 during a business dinner. The bottle has been in the basement since 1984 and she actually wanted to flush it down the sink.

I saved him, but my knowledge of wines stops when I read the label.

My question is, is this still of any value to a collector or is it worth nothing and was my mother-in-law right?

Who can help me with any information? Google is getting nowhere ...
