Ik begrijp niet hoe ik wijn kan kopen via een veiling als de Europese regels zeggen dat de verkoper accijns moet betalen in het land van de koper.
Misschien dat een van de vele wijnboeren in Frankrijk, Spanje, Italië, etc., hier een antwoord op kan geven. Zij verkopen tenslotte al tientallen jaren wijn aan buitenlandse toeristen:-)
Deze vraag moet je stellen aan de betreffende veilingmeesters en/of klantenservice, het veilingbedrijf Catawiki heeft al vele kwesties omtrent de verkoop van alcohol succesvol afgehandeld.

I do not understand how to buy wine through an auction when European rules state that the seller must pay excise duty in the buyer's country.
Perhaps one of the many winegrowers in France, Spain, Italy, etc., can answer this. After all, they have been selling wine to foreign tourists for decades :-)
You should ask this question to the relevant auctioneers and / or customer service, the auction company Catawiki has successfully dealt with many issues regarding the sale of alcohol.

Maar inderdaad, de veilingmeesters zouden dit moeten kunnen uitleggen. Even afwachten of hier iemand daar iets kan en wil over zeggen
Veilingmeesters kijken niet op dit forum voor verzamelaars, je zult echt de veilingmeesters of de klantenservice rechtstreeks moeten benaderen.

Misschien is een verwijzing naar het forum reglement hier op zijn plaats. Met nadruk op het gedeelte Catawiki forum en de Catawiki veilingen
In het verleden werden er hier nog wel eens veiling gerelateerde issues aangesneden, maar dat doen we niet meer omdat dat vaak vragen zijn die beantwoord moeten worden door veilingmeesters en die lezen nu net dit forum niet. Daardoor ontstonden vaak discussies die niets met verzamelen te maken hebben en omdat, zoals eerder gezegd, dit een verzamelaars forum is hebben we daar een streep onder gezet.
Wat we dus ook in dit geval doen.

In the past, auction-related issues were sometimes raised here, but we don't do that anymore because these are often questions that must be answered by auctioneers and they just don't read this forum. This often led to discussions that have nothing to do with collecting and because, as mentioned before, this is a collectors forum, we have put a stop to that.
Which is what we do in this case as well.
