Good evening,

I have just added the following item to the catalog 4592259 . Now I actually want to enter the playing cards from image 3 1 by 1.

In my opinion, these are not trading cards nor album pictures, so where can I enter them?

Who will help me to enter this?

greetings w1975

If you enter game cards in the CataWiki search engine, you will get 54 hits on the categories. That way it seems that there are a lot of duplicates and they are not all together. I think it should be here and can this item will be rejected (multiple items under 1 item).

I think the Jokers of the game have to be entered twice, because they are both playing cards and jokers. Or are the Jokers a theme?

Good luck, because if you add the cards individually (nice for the collector of the individual players), then that category is immediately doubled :)!

I think you found a better solution yourself! It seems clear enough to me.

Entering playing cards is not always easy because there is often no brand or number on it.

As the category grows, the chance that the playing cards in question have already been placed increases and you have to search in the titles or themes.

The collection area Games/ Playing cards/ Card games (4x13 + jokers) includes the playing cards (4 x 13 + jokers), i.e. a set of playing cards consisting of ace, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, jack, queen and king + jokers (+ possibly card with game explanation).

In order to guarantee uniformity in this collection area, I request that you take care of the import in this way

The title of the set should be the full name as stated on the box or else as stated on the back of the card.

The Publisher is often mentioned in small letters, and appears automatically when entering the first letters in the input field.

The kind of game in these is always Card games (4x13 + jokers)
Game series / number / Author and designer: can be filled in if they are actually named on the set or can be noted from card manufacturers' catalogues.

The number of players : depending on the game: with general playing cards, the number of players is “1 or more” because the game Patience can be played with a set. For specific games such as Canasta; “2 players” and Brigde : “4 players”

The language can be stated as the language on the packaging or as stated on the playing cards.

The dimensions should be expressed in cm 1 decimal place: eg 5.9 x 12.0 cm

The general guidelines of Catawiki for games apply to the photos to be entered ; particularized:

- Photo 1 is the front of the packaging (box / plastic or similar; For items without packaging, a photo of the back of the playing card must be entered

- Photo 2 shows a partially explained game with the box also indicated on it. Note; if the item is in the original foil, a photo of the packaging will suffice; where the map figure is visible.

- Photo 3 shows the back of the box + the back of a playing card.

If you look at the catawiki collection of playing cards (4x13+jokers) you will see countless examples of how this structure is built up and followed.

Have fun collecting

Isn't image 1 the front, image 2 the back and image 3 the content? So is it with many other collection sections? Board games of course usually not, because the back (or bottom) does not show any real information about the packaging or the game. And the tip does not really apply, because if you only have a few cards, for example only jokers or aces or something like that, then you have to enter them in other, subcategory playing card. I have no formatting options.

Hi Disney Meentwijc,

See below the standard description of Catawiki.nl from which my above message is derived:

~Images
Use one of the following formats: .jpg, .gif, .png or .tiff. Photos larger than 700 pixels high or 700 pixels wide are automatically resized. The maximum size you can upload is 5 MB per photo. We recommend using .jpg files. They are compact so that adding photos is much faster.

- First photo (required ): Place a photo of the entire lid of the box here, taken straight from the front and filling the screen with a small margin. So no photos slanted from the front/side or of the unpacked game. If the sides of the box contain relevant details, this can possibly include. photo 2 or 3 for be used.

= IDEM TO MY EXPLANATION; Front of the packaging

- Second photo (urgently requested): If available: The fully displayed content, with the game board unfolded and game rules. Optionally, the box can be in the background (eg to make details of the sides visible).

= IDEM TO MY EXPLANATION: game, whether or not partially explained

Third photo (optional) Any close-ups of details, such as playing figures, special dice, etc. or other photos that can clarify the whole further. If relevant, the back of the box can also be shown here.

= IDEM TO MY EXPLANATION: back of the box and details

I hope to have unraveled the complexity of 'more difficult collections'.
