Figure 1: Scan or photo of the front.
Figure 2: Scan or photo of the back.
Figure 3: Scan or photo of the label (if vinyl) or CD.
If the front and back are the same, you can of course use 1 image.
Singles and CDs are easy to scan. LP covers are trickier. I put them on the floor and photograph them with a tripod. Then I crop them on the computer and resize them. As long as the images are readable.
Extra images of, for example, insides etc. can be placed within your own collection.

Masar they are only visible to you, I think only when they are for sale, then I thought they are visible again.
And how many have filled up my own collection, I am still working on it. pity that is not visible, this can just show the special

The problem is that nothing of your own copy is visible, for someone else
Just looked: for sale Sgt Pepper that is the copy I added to the catalog, it should contain an image of the album for sale and not my imports
And it is not for sale at least as far as I know !!!!

Nee hoor.
No. That is not true. When I go to collectors via Music and then look at you, I see your collection. When I click on an item I see 6 images: the 3 top ones are your copy and the 3 bottom ones as they are in the general catalog. Even items that are not for sale.

Very Good of doe ik wat verkeerd?
Hi French because I know you have a preference for The Animals I gave it a try with your collection
the only thing I can imagine that you do not have your own images
see only in a box This copy - Very Good or am I doing something wrong?

Hoi Dick,
Dat klopt. Ik heb nergens extra afbeeldingen toegevoegd.
Ik ga dat nu even doen bij The Animals tracking the hits.
Hi Dick,
That's right. I have not added any extra images.
I am now going to do that at The Animals tracking the hits. Picture is not correct, but it is only a test :-)

Hi Frans, it already works a spear
Beautiful flowers
Conclusion: at the moment a lot of collectors have not added their own specimen yet is not so problem, you just give indicates that you own that copy.
(also applies to me, try to fill it up slowly but surely)
But I do think that there should be an obligation to fill this in when offered for sale.

It seems to me indeed very desirable that when you put an item up for sale, that you also have it in your possession :-)
Or do you mean that you also have to indicate that you have it for sale AND that it is in your collection?

As you know I have a few Beatles and even duplicates, and those I do have duplicates I have in my collection and for sale
and I think that you have at least the photos for sale!
and not just the images from the catalog although I've added those too and that happens to be my copy
How can I add something to my shop without it also appearing in the catalog and then being pointed out by third parties and consequently deleted. This is because it is very frustrating to see that after adding a new item to the catalog, both options are available at the bottom of the input field and they then appear neatly in the shop and are subsequently knocked out again.
Is it also possible to copy items from my collection to my shop?
Thank you in advance for the correct answer

You can only put an item from the catalog in your collection or shop.
from your collection you can also
The reason why I have removed your added items is the following you wanted to add items that were already in the catalog you even make use of these scans by re-using them for an item that was already in the catalog you also saw clearly 2 times the logo from catawiki to the right.
hence the disapproval
take the lp revolver, this is already in the catalog, you can place this item in your own collection and shop.
would put your own scans / photos of your own item in your own collection / shop
and indeed I had to throw some out yesterday

Will those items not be rejected if they don't have 3 'mandatory' images?
And are rejected items also removed from the Catalog or do people wait until a correct image is added?

@ Rene again requires 3 scans for vinyl and CD, simply because these items cannot be approved!
And especially because the serious collectors who do take the trouble to posting an item completely will be deprived!

groet,
Jan
Hereby my reaction as CW user:
By now you have convinced me that entering 3 images of the item in question is a good guideline. I do that as well as possible. As an obligation, this becomes a stumbling block: sometimes you cannot make more than 2 different images (cover and carrier) or, as with promos or singles, 78RPM only the carrier itself, possibly side A + B. What kind of image do you place as 'mandatory' at 3? Or: 2 regular CDs in my collection, once on loan, eventually get 1 back: jewel case of CD1, carrier of CD2 .. You cannot enter those items when you have 3 scans required. Do you want to wait for someone else to enter it and then add it to the collection, or rely on the WIKI in Catawiki and enter it as completely as possible so that another collector will post additional information?
So keep 3 images as desired guideline, 1 image required to prove the 'existence' of the item in question.
greetings,
Jan

@ This-Raft, Those are issues that I also raised and about which we are still in discussion. Indeed, most 78rpm records do not have a cover or a generic standard cover. That is one of the examples where it becomes difficult in practice.

Scan 1 voorkant hoes bij singels 78 toeren in (fabriekshoes) lp zonder hoes etc gewoon afbeelding kant A.
@ Rene, it is always a problem within this section, always too few scans, but that's just the way we can live with it.
Now once in a row
Scan 1 front cover for singles 78 rpm in (factory cover) LP without cover etc just image side A.
Scan 2 Back cover (actually the side where the tracks are shown, just example white double album Beatles, there you give the left side of the inner cover, because the tracks are displayed there) usually the tracks are displayed there, for 78 rpm and singles etc you display side B in factory cover.
Scan 3 here you display the label scan of carrier because the input from the carrier is viewed so at 78 rpm and single just label side A
in these cases scan 1 can be equal to scan 3 but not often
78 rpm and single are usually in a sleeve and sometimes with a middle opening where you can see the label scan 3 is really to read the data from the carrier. so important
The only problem you have when there are several carriers in a package, they often get their own release number and you simply cannot display it.
That you discuss it with super administrators fine (still wondering how they can properly assess an item without these sharp scans) but what is the added value of super administrators of other sections?

Dick, The problem is that 78rpm records usually came in any standard sleeve that says nothing. Apart from that, they now usually appear without a cover.
What do you mean about super administrators? FransS and Jilles are that at Records and CD's.

@Arco, well because of the crowds you have to respond to so many messages that you sometimes post the message somewhere else. ;)
1 image required to prove the 'existence' of the item in question
So I don't agree! This image can sometimes be a very small blurry image and still be approved. As Dick also mentioned, the item must be verifiable. Especially with plates with many small variations, it is really necessary to place good and multiple scans.
When entering singles, place the front of the cover on image 1, the back on image 2 and then side A on image 3.
If a single cover has the same front and back on the cover, you could place side A in picture 3 and side B in picture 2.
I also assume that 78 rpm records were once sold with an original record cover. You also need to give space to place them.
And if you don't have a cover anymore, you can always use the label on both sides. Image 1: Side A, image 2 Side B and image 3 Side A. That way someone who does have the record cover can replace images 1 and 2 with their own scans.
And with CDs I would say that you do have to be patient, because I believe we went for quality and not for quantity. Items with 3 images from the same CD don't seem like good items to me. There is certainly a collector with the same CD and otherwise you would have to look the borrower in the eye for returning the right cover.
